Is Root Keyboard free?

Yes. Root Keyboard is free to download and every feature is available on the free plan. You get 5,000 one-time trial words when you first sign in, free bonus words every day through the daily streak, and 2,000 bonus words for each friend you invite. Subscriptions add a bigger allowance of words each week, month or year.

Does Root Keyboard read or store what I type?

No. What you type stays on your phone and is never stored on our servers. Text is sent to an AI provider only when you tap an AI feature such as Grammar, Tone or Translate, and only the text that feature needs. We don't log it or save it to your account.
