What uses words
AI actions: Grammar, Tone, Translate, Ask AI, Assistants, voice cleanup and Clever Reply. Each one uses words based mainly on the length of the answer.

Is Root Keyboard free?
Yes. Root Keyboard is free to download and every feature is available on the free plan. You get 5,000 one-time trial words when you first sign in, free bonus words every day through the daily streak, and 2,000 bonus words for each friend you invite. Subscriptions add a bigger allowance of words each week, month or year.
What are words?
Words are how Root Keyboard measures AI use. Each AI action uses a few words from your wallet, based mainly on how long the AI's answer is. Typing, themes, clipboard, emoji search and Bangla phonetic typing never use words. Subscription words are used first, then bonus words, then trial words.
How do referral rewards work?
Share your invite link from the app. When a friend installs Root Keyboard with your link, signs in and the referral qualifies, you receive 2,000 bonus words. You can earn rewards for up to 7 friends, which adds up to 14,000 bonus words.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Google Play. Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Root Keyboard and tap Cancel. You keep your words until the end of the period you paid for.
